Common Cold Tips

A cold is a mild infection of the upper respiratory system, it usually lasts 1-2 weeks. The stronger your immune system at the time you get a virus, the quicker you will be able to restore back to good health. This is why it’s so important to remain consistent with treating your body the right way.


Symptoms

  • Runny nose

  • Sore throat

  • Sneezing

  • Coughing

  • Fever

  • Fatigue

  • Headache

  • Lack of appetite

  • Body aches

Tips

  • Up your vegetable and fruit intake

  • Avoid dairy, eggs and too much meat

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine

  • Keep hydrated with plenty water (not cold)

  • Take hot showers

Helpful Herbs

My personal remedy

(Works best when taken 3 times a day as soon as you feel the cold coming on)

  1. 1\2 a key lime juice

  2. Tablespoon of pure honey

  3. 1/2 a sachet of ginger powder

  4. 1 grated garlic clove

  5. Pinch of cayenne pepper (hot, use with caution)

  6. Half a cup of hot water
